How it works

Someone there, when you can’t be.

Post a small task anywhere in the world. Someone nearby does it and sends proof. Your payment waits safely in escrow until you’re happy.

Four steps, from “I need” to done

  1. 01

    Post what you need

Describe the task, where it is, when it’s due and what you’ll pay. Plain words are enough.

  2. 02

    Your payment is locked

When you choose someone, the money goes into escrow on the blockchain. Neither of you, nor us, can walk away with it.

  3. 03

They do it and send proof

Photos, video, a receipt or a location check: the proof you asked for, before anything is paid.

  4. 04

    You approve, they get paid

One tap releases the payment. Something wrong? Ask for changes, or open a dispute and a neutral reviewer decides.

What people use it for

Anything small that needs a person on the spot.

  • Check if a shop has something in stock
  • Inspect a car before you buy it
  • See an apartment before you rent it
  • Buy something local and ship it to you
  • Call a business in the local language
  • Pick up documents or stand in line

Built so nobody has to trust blindly

Escrow on the blockchain

The payment sits in a public smart contract, not in our bank account. It only moves when the deal says so.

Proof before payment

Every task has required proof, and every message and file in a deal is kept as evidence.

Fair when things go wrong

Disputes are decided by a neutral reviewer, and every decision needs two signatures.

Your wallet, your keys

Your wallet is protected by a passkey on your device. No seed phrase, and we never hold your keys.

Questions, answered

What is I Need Some.one?

A marketplace for small tasks that need someone in a specific place. You post what you need, people nearby offer to do it, and the payment is held in escrow until the work is done.

Who does the tasks?

People who live or happen to be where your task is. Each has a public profile with ratings, completed deals and reviews, so you can choose who you trust.

How does payment work?

You pay in USDC, a digital dollar (1 USDC = 1 US dollar), on the Base network. Add it with a card or from crypto you already hold. For a fixed-price request the amount is locked in escrow when you publish it; for one open to offers, when you choose an offer. It comes back to you if nobody takes the job, and is released when you approve the proof.

What does it cost?

Posting is free, and you pay exactly the price you agreed. The platform fee is 10%, taken only from the helper’s payment. Network fees are covered by us.

What if the work isn’t done, or isn’t right?

You can ask for changes, get back what isn’t paid yet if nothing was delivered by the deadline plus the grace period, or open a dispute. Milestones already paid stay paid. If you don’t respond after proof arrives, the payment is released at the end of the review window (1 or 2 days).

Do I need to know crypto?

No. Your wallet is created when you sign up and unlocked with Face ID, a fingerprint or your device PIN. You can add funds with a card, and you never need ETH for fees.

Is my exact address public?

No. Others see only the general area. The exact location is shown only to the person you hire, once the deal starts.

Are there limits?

Deals start at 5 dollars. New accounts can do up to 200 dollars per deal, trusted accounts up to 2,000. Illegal, dangerous or harmful tasks are not allowed and are removed.
