Prohibited tasks
What can’t be posted, what a moderator looks at first, and what is always fine. This list is the one our moderation uses, so it is always current.

1.The principle
People’s own business is their own. A task that is legal and does not harm, deceive or target anyone is allowed, even if it is personal or unusual. We only refuse what is clearly illegal or harms someone; when in doubt, a moderator decides.
2.Not allowed
Requests like these are rejected.
- finding or locating a private personFinding out where a private individual lives, works or is right now; identifying a stranger; doxxing.
- watching or recording private peopleFollowing, tracking, or secretly photographing or recording a private person, their home, car or routine without their consent. Photos of businesses, public places, events, or a home the requester owns, rents or is viewing are fine.
- harassment or threatsThreatening, intimidating, confronting, hurting or scaring someone.
- weaponsBuying, selling, carrying or handling firearms, ammunition or weapons for someone. Tools and toys (glue gun, water gun, kitchen knives) are fine.
- drugs, medicine or controlled goods for someone elseIllegal drugs, or prescription medicine for someone without a prescription in their name. Alcohol, tobacco and picking up an already-paid prescription are fine.
- sexual servicesSexual services, or sexual content involving real people.
- unsafe involvement of childrenUnsupervised contact with children without a parent's clear involvement.
- fraud or pretending to be someoneActing as another real person (exams, interviews, official appointments, ID checks), forging documents or receipts, scams, deceiving an authority. Mystery shopping as an ordinary customer is fine.
- smuggling or banned goods across bordersHiding goods from customs, or carrying goods across a border that are banned or need a licence there. Buying an ordinary item in another city or country and bringing it or shipping it to the requester is a normal personal purchase: allow it (duties are the requester’s business).
- moving money for someoneMoving money or value for someone to hide where it came from. Buying an item with the requester’s money and handing the item over is a normal purchase, not this.
- hacking or bypassing securityHacking, malware, breaking into accounts, bypassing security.
- something illegalAnything else that is clearly illegal where it would happen. Never use this for something that is merely unusual, informal or could in theory be misused.
3.Checked by a moderator first
These are often fine but sometimes used for scams, so a person looks before the request is published.
4.Always fine
Examples of ordinary tasks that are welcome.
- Shopping and pickups, also wine, beer or tobacco as a gift
- Buying an item in another city or country and bringing it or shipping it to the requester
- Checking if a shop has something in stock, and buying it
- Deliveries of ordinary items
- Picking up an order or parcel from a shop or courier point and delivering or shipping it locally
- Queuing for someone
- Mystery shopping ("pretend to be a customer")
- Checking or photographing shops, places, events, cars, or the requester’s own or rented home
- Attending a conference or event and taking notes

5.Anywhere on the platform
- No paying or being paid outside the escrow, and no moving a deal off the platform.
- No sharing phone numbers, emails, links or social accounts before a deal; keep talking here.
- No fake proof, fake receipts, fake reviews or pretending to be someone else.
- No harassment, threats or anything that puts someone at risk.
6.What happens if something breaks the rules
A request that breaks them is rejected with the reason, and you can ask for a person to look again. Anyone can report a request, an offer, a message or a user. Breaking the rules can lead to a warning, a suspension or a ban, as described in the Terms.
